Simon graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama with a First Class Degree in music. He has since achieved a distinction in his Masters Degree at The Royal College of Music and therefore now holds the Mmus (Hons) Degree. He has a breadth of experience teaching classical guitar including previous full time work for Berkshire Maestros, and is an accomplished performer playing at venues across England and Wales.
A life in music
Simon’s parents are keen guitarists and he caught the bug from an early age. He gained a scholarship to the Amersham Music Centre and won a place in the National Youth Guitar Ensemble, and has never looked back. 
Teaching and performing
Simon teaches classical guitar for all ages and from beginner to Diploma level. He is an experienced performer and accompanist – playing regularly at a range of events around England and Wales. 
Away from the guitar
Simon has been a member of a Chesham Scout group from age six and is now a qualified Cub & Scout leader. He has also completed both the Duke of Edinburgh Gold award and the Queen’s Scout Award.
